Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

Trumansburg EMS employs professional EMTs and paramedics with a diverse range of experience, who are available to assist those in need 24/7. The service provides EMS protection and ambulance coverage to the Town of Ulysses, the Town of Covert, and parts of the town of Hector.  Trumansburg EMS also provides mutual aid to other agencies in Tompkins, Seneca, and Schuyler Counties as well as public assistance services to members of the community.

OUR MISSION: The village of Trumansburg EMS strives to be a leader in the Emergency Medical Services arena. Our purpose is to provide our community with excellence in pre-hospital care. We will achieve this by pursuing exemplary care, training and education, preparedness, customer service, and collaborating with other critical community agencies. As our community and jurisdictions continue to grow, we will continue to meet the task by adopting community outreach and promotion, public education, staff development, and providing access to further health prevention within our communities.

Joel James Fey, NYS EMT-Paramedic

Joel James Fey is a highly regarded paramedic and EMS Administrator based in Trumansburg, New York, where he manages the operations of Trumansburg EMS. Ambulance Billing

We strive to provide the highest level of care to our community. We are able to bring this level of care to you as a direct result of our billing practices. Because of this, we are able to staff Paramedics and EMT’s 24/7.

Paramedics/ EMTs are healthcare professional who provides emergency treatment, including advanced life support, to patients in emergency situations. Paramedics / EMTs assess the urgent medical needs of patients and stabilize their conditions until doctors can administer more specific and extensive treatment.
