PROPOSED LOCAL LAW #D1 - 2024

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Village of Trumansburg Board of Trustees will conduct a Public Hearing at 7:00PM on Monday, March 25th, 2024 in the Meeting Room of Village Hall at 56 East Main Street, Trumansburg, NY, 14886 to take public comment on Proposed Local Law #D1-2024 titled, “A Local Law to Override the Tax Levy Limitations in General Municipal Law Section 3-c for Fiscal Year 2024-25;
Section 1. Legislative Intent
It is the intent of this local law to allow the Village of Trumansburg to adopt a budget for the fiscal year commencing June 1, 2024 through May 31, 2025 that requires a real property tax levy in excess of the “tax levy limit” as defined by General Municipal Law § 3-c.
