The Village of Trumansburg has released draft commercial zoning revision documents for public review and comment. Prepared by the Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Revision Committee (CPZRC), this is the second milestone in the Village's ongoing zoning revision process, following the residential zoning updates completed in 2023.
The proposed revisions implement the vision established in the Village's 2021 Comprehensive Plan by updating commercial zoning regulations that have remained largely unchanged for over 40 years. Key areas addressed include zoning district boundaries, allowed uses, dimensional and design requirements, parking standards, signage, and lighting.

Community members are encouraged to review the documents and submit any feedback or comments to the Village Clerk at . The Village Board will review comments received and continue discussion at its May 11th board meeting.
