PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Village Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, February 28th, 2022 at 6:00 PM to review two (2) Use Variance requests and one (1) Area Variance request as described below.

An application for an Area Variance and Use Variance request from Todd Parlato for Atlas Bowl located at 61 W. Main St., Trumansburg, NY 14886, also known as tax parcel #6.-1-5.2. Mr. Parlato is requesting to convert the area behind the Atlas Bowl building into an exterior beer garden to include installation of a safety fence, expanding the current concrete pad and resizing and burying the electrical service. The plan also includes placement of a crusher run gravel and pea stone patio surface and the construction of a porch roof over the extended concrete pad. This proposed project will be 100% in the Riparian Buffer Zone and as defined by The Village of Trumansburg Zoning Ordinance “may not modify or interrupt more than 10% of the entire riparian buffer area” without appropriate variances.

An application for a Use Variance request from Royal Westwater and Donna Holzbaur for their property located at 100 Cayuga St., Trumansburg, NY 14886, also known as tax parcel#4.-1-3. The property owners are requesting a use variance to allow a storage trailer to remain on their property for an additional year beyond the 1-year allowed by Village of Trumansburg Zoning Regulations.

This public hearing shall take place in person in the Village Hall Meeting Room, 56 E. Main St. Trumansburg, NY 14886.
