SERVICES

Crossing Guards

The TPD supplies crossing guards at key intersections at the beginning and end of school days to ensure our children have safe passage to and from school. This is a collaborative effort between the police and the Trumansburg Central School District.

Parking

The Village has municipal lots on Elm Street, Main Street next to the Colonial Laundromat, and at the Trumansburg Farmers’ Market. If you park on a side street, all four wheels of your vehicle must be off the street surface. Your vehicle must face in the direction of the flow of traffic, even if it is otherwise parked legally. Those who are illegally parked will be ticketed.

Also, please note that November 1 through April 1 there is no overnight on-street parking allowed between 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM on Main Street (Route 96), Union Street, or Old Main Street (in front of Ron Don's) to allow for snow removal. Please use the municipal lots.

Pharmaceutical Drop Box

Drop off unwanted medications in the Village Police Department’s drop box during open office hours.

Property Checks

Request that an officer check on your home while you are away. Please complete the online form.
