UPDATE 4/9/2020: Final PPP regulations are set to be released tomorrow. This will hopefully give additional insight into the loan forgiveness portion. It now also appears that the $10,000 grant portion of the EIDL program is a “cap”, and that SBA is basing the amount given on number of employees. More details to follow as they become available. -RH
UPDATE 4/8/2020: A local SBA applicant reports that they were able to get through to someone for assistance by calling the regional SBA Field Office at (716)843-4100, then asking to be directed to the SBA EIDL. Wait times are long as applications increase. Additionally, application confirmation emails are running about a week behind. -RH
