PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The Village Zoning Board of Appeals will hold three (3) public hearings on Thursday, May 28th, 2020 at 6:00 PM to review three (3) variance applications; two (2) use variances and one (1) area variance as follows:
An application for a Use Variance submitted by Kate Frazer and Marc Devokaitis for their property located at 6 Bradley St., Trumansburg, NY 14886, also known as tax parcel 1.-4-1.1. The property owners are requesting to use a pre-existing non-conforming accessory building for a chicken coop.
An application for a Use Variance submitted by Jonathan Ferrari & Rana Chen for their property located at 16 Cayuga St., Trumansburg, NY 14886, also known as tax parcel 5.1-5. The property owners are requesting to be allowed to keep an additional six (6) chickens, along with the six (6) chickens allowed by their current permit and Local Law 5 of 2013 “Rear Yard and Side Yard Chicken Rules and Regulations” of the Village of Trumansburg.
An application for an Area Variance submitted by Kira Lallass for her property located at 11 Kentucky Avenue, Trumansburg, NY, also known as tax parcel 8.-1-1.2. The property owner is requesting to replace the pre-existing non-conforming attached one-car garage with an attached two-car car garage requiring an additional eleven (11) foot variance.
These public hearing shall take place by videoconference and conference call, accessible to the public through the Zoom meeting service at https://zoom.us/j/86756396427 or by telephone at (929)436-2866, pursuant to the authority and direction of Executive Order 202.1 dated March 7, 2020. FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SEWER RENT RATES:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Village of Trumansburg Board of Trustees has scheduled a Public Hearing on May 11th, 2020 in the Main Meeting Room of the Village Hall, 56 E. Main Street, Trumansburg, New York, for the purpose of taking comment on Proposed Local Law 5 of 2020 entitled “LOCAL LAW 5-2020 AMENDMENT TO LOCAL LAW 4-2020: ESTABLISHMENT OF SEWER RENTS VILLAGE OF TRUMANSBURG” which will replace Subdivision D of Section 7 of the Sewer Use and Sewer Ordinance of the Village of Trumansburg.
In the event of a continuance of restrictions on gatherings of individuals by the Office of the Governor of NY State, this public hearing shall take place by videoconference and conference call, accessible to the public through the Zoom meeting service at https://zoom.us/j/93925614126 or by telephone at (929)436-2866, pursuant to the authority and direction of Executive Order 202.1 dated March 7, 2020. LOCAL LAW 5-2020
AMENDMENT TO LOCAL LAW 4-2020:
ESTABLISHMENT OF SEWER RENTS
VILLAGE OF TRUMANSBURG
Be it enacted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Trumansburg as follows:
Section I. PURPOSE AND INTENT
It is the purpose and intent of this Local Law to amend Local Law 4-2020 “Establishment of Sewer Rents” so as to grant the Village Board of Trustees the authority, by resolution, to waive penalties and/or late fees for delinquent payments when operating under a Federal, State, or Local State of Emergency.
Section II. AMENDMENT OF LOCAL LAW 4-2020
The following sentence shall be inserted at the end of Section II of Local Law 4-2020:
The Village Board of Trustees may, by resolution, waive or suspend penalties and/or late fees for delinquent payments in the event or as the result of any Federal, State or Local State of Emergency Declaration.
Section III. SUPERSEDING EFFECT
All ordinances, local laws, resolutions, rules, regulations and other enactments of the Village of Trumansburg in conflict with the provisions of this local law are hereby superseded to the extent necessary to give this local law full force and effect.
Section IV. VALIDITY
The invalidity of any provision of this local law shall not affect the validity of any other provision of this local law that can be given effect without such invalid provision.
Section V. EFFECTIVE DATE
This local law shall be effective upon its filing in the office of the Secretary of State; except that it shall be effective from the date of service as against a person served with a copy thereof, certified by the Village Clerk, and showing the date of its passage and entry in the Minutes of the Village Board of Trustees.
